1. Data We Collect

To maintain the standards of the Parking Honey community and ensure secure transactions, we collect the following data:

• Identity & Demographics: Name, Email Address, and Gender.
• Verification Data: Phone Number (for SMS coordination) and 18+ Age Attestation.
• Vehicle Intelligence: Make, Model, Color, Vehicle Size (Compact, Standard, Large, Oversized), and Vehicle Photo.
• Location & Technical Data: Real-time GPS Coordinates (for parking matching and proximity verification), IP Address (for security and fraud prevention), and Device Tokens (for Push Notifications).

2. How We Use Your Data

We use your information to facilitate the relocation marketplace and to increase the platform's operational value. This includes:

• Transaction Security: Using GPS and IP data to verify Host and Driver proximity via the "GPS Handshake" — confirming both parties are within range for a safe, verified swap.
• Communication: Sending native Push Notifications and SMS alerts for booking updates, safety alerts, and coordination messages.
• Market Analysis: Aggregating vehicle and demographic data to optimize parking availability in high-density areas.
• Trust & Safety: Verifying disputes, including No-Show claims, by checking whether a user was present at the agreed location.

GPS data is collected only while the app is active and you are engaged in a booking or Host Mode session. You can disable Host Mode at any time to stop sharing your location.

3. Data Asset & Third-Party Disclosure

Parking Honey treats its database as a corporate asset.

• Marketing & Partnerships: We may share anonymized or targeted demographic data (e.g., "SUV owners in New York") with strategic partners, including sponsors and automotive service providers, to offer exclusive benefits to our users.
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data (including Email, Phone, and Vehicle history) may be transferred to the acquiring entity as part of the business holdings.

4. Payment Data & Stripe

All financial transactions are processed securely by Stripe, Inc. Parking Honey does not store credit card numbers, bank account details, or other sensitive payment information on its own servers. Host payouts are managed through Stripe Connect Express. For more information on how Stripe handles your data, please refer to Stripe's Privacy Policy.

5. Identity Verification

For users seeking Verified Host status, identity verification is conducted through Stripe Identity. This process is managed entirely by Stripe. Parking Honey receives only a verification result (verified or not verified) and does not store identity documents, government IDs, or biometric data.

6. Data Sharing During Bookings

Parking Honey shares limited user information with other users only as needed to facilitate coordinated relocations. During active bookings, your first name and vehicle information are visible to the other party. Profile photos are blurred during browsing and only shown clearly after a booking is confirmed. Your full name and contact details are never shared publicly.

7. Account Sign-In Data

When you sign in with Google or Apple, we access only the following information:

• Name — to personalize your experience and display to other users during bookings.
• Email address — to create your account and send booking confirmations.
• Profile photo — to display on your profile within the app (Google only).

We do not access your contacts, calendar, drive, or any other services.

8. Your Control: Full Account Deletion

You have the right to leave at any time.

• Account Deletion: When you choose to delete your account, Parking Honey performs a full data wipe. We do not maintain "ghost files" or shadow profiles. All PII (Personally Identifiable Information), including your Phone Number, GPS history, IP records, vehicle data, bookings, ratings, disputes, and notifications will be permanently scrubbed from our active servers.
• Notification Controls: You can disable push notifications at any time from your Profile settings without deleting your account.

9. SMS / Text Messaging & Compliance

This policy is designed to comply with the California Delete Act, TCPA (for SMS), and 2026 App Store Transparency requirements. By registering a vehicle and providing your phone number, you explicitly consent to the collection and usage of data as outlined above. By providing your phone number, you consent to receive automated text messages from Parking Honey related to your bookings and parking alerts. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies based on your bookings and alert settings (typically up to 30 messages per month). Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time, or HELP for help. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
