By creating an account or using Parking Honey, you agree to these Terms of Service. Parking Honey is a technology platform that facilitates peer-to-peer vehicle relocation coordination. We are not a parking operator, valet service, or garage. All transactions represent voluntary coordination between independent users.
All payments made through the platform are "Relocation Fees" — voluntary compensation paid by a driver to a host for the service of coordinating the timely relocation of a vehicle from a parking space. The Relocation Fee is not rent, a parking toll, a meter payment, or a charge for the use of a space. It is a peer-to-peer fee for the convenience of coordinated vehicle movement.
Relocation Fees are set by hosts and agreed upon by drivers before any coordination begins. Parking Honey does not set, mandate, or guarantee any pricing.
Parking Honey retains 30% of each Relocation Fee as a platform service fee to maintain the technology infrastructure, GPS verification systems, trust and safety operations, and payment processing. The remaining 70% is paid out to the host via Stripe Connect.
If a host or driver cancels a confirmed relocation within 10 minutes of the scheduled meeting time, or fails to appear at the GPS-verified location (a "No-Show"), a 30% Inconvenience Fee will be applied. This fee reimburses the platform and the inconvenienced party for lost time and opportunity. GPS verification data is used to determine No-Show status.
Users acknowledge and agree that they are solely responsible for the safety, security, and legal compliance of their vehicle at all times. This includes obeying all local traffic laws, parking regulations, and property rules during any relocation coordination. Parking Honey does not guarantee the availability, legality, or suitability of any parking space.
Users assume all risk associated with driving, parking, and relocating their vehicle. Parking Honey is not liable for traffic violations, towing, vehicle damage, theft, or any other loss that may occur before, during, or after a coordinated relocation.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Parking Honey shall be resolved through binding private arbitration, rather than in court. By using the platform, you waive the right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration. Disputes will be administered under standard commercial arbitration rules. Parking Honey's internal Trust & Safety dispute system must be used as a first step before initiating arbitration.
Parking Honey reserves the right to suspend or terminate any user account for violations of these Terms, including but not limited to: repeated No-Shows, fraudulent activity, use of multiple accounts, harassment of other users, or any behavior that undermines the trust and safety of the platform.
Parking Honey may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the app or via email.
By providing your mobile phone number during onboarding or in your account settings, you consent to receive automated text messages from Parking Honey, including parking alerts (such as alternate side parking status), booking updates, and coordination messages. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase or of using the platform — providing a phone number is optional. Message frequency varies based on your bookings and alert settings (typically up to 30 messages per month). Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or reply HELP for assistance; you may also remove your phone number or disable alerts in the app at any time. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Your mobile phone number will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
